10 x Finalists - 1 x Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience

For 2020/2021 PWIS is partnering with University of Cambridge, UK, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, UK and National Institutes of Health, USA to hold a Finalist's 1-week residential experience in Cambridge, UK. The week will genuinely immerse, and practically involve, students in helping to generate cutting-edge, world-class UK scientific and medical research.

Your research project could result in you being a named contributor in a Paper published in an esteemed International Medical Journal!

Applications close 30 April 2021!

In light of the 2020 COVID-19 situation and its potential ongoing impact in 2021 we have altered the 2020/2021 format of PWIS to only include UK-based activities. We have extended the submission deadline to offer more students the chance to participate.

The UK, and particularly Cambridge, is at the forefront of global scientific innovation. Whether it be creating AI programmes to better diagnose disease, finally producing cures for currently untreatable conditions or researching the genetics of many orphan diseases. Cambridge is where ideas are turning into reality.

For those with an interest in any field of science spending the week with us in Cambridge will be eye opening, inspirational, thought provoking and fun - Submit your project overview now to become one of the best, who will join the best!
